Miles Evans - Bandleader and Trumpet

Miles Evans was born and raised in the world of Jazz music. Learning from his father, Gil Evans and his namesake Miles Davis, Miles strives to create new and exciting ways to push Jazz into the future. He is a great bandleader and a skillful and soulful trumpet player that is never afraid to experiment with timbre, or the melodic, or harmonic content of his playing.

Miles has collaborated with some amazing musicians including Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, Jaco Pastorius, and Sting.



Doug Webb - Sax

Originally from Southern California, Doug Webb began his life in music when he learned how to play Clarinet at age 8. After adding Flute and Sax to his repertoire, Doug attended the prestigious Berklee school of music in Boston. Doug, and his trusty Sax have gone on to play on some of the best Jazz recordings over the last 25 years. Doug is often the lead Saxaphone player with Rod Stewart and Stanley Clarke. He is also heavily in demand for his work on film and television soundtracks.



Gorden Campbell - Drums

Gorden Campbell received his B.A. in Music with a focus in Jazz studies from Howard University in 1994. Two days after graduation, Gorden moved to Los Angeles and has been an "in demand" drummer and producer ever since. He is proficient in many styles of music and has worked with artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, George Duke, Jessica Simpson, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Jamie Foxx, 50 cent, and Mary J. Blige. He also recorded for the hit movie soundtrack Dreamgirls.



Dean Brown - Guitar

For close to 30 years guitarist/composer Dean Brown has been an integral part of the global fusion and contemporary jazz scene. Dean has recorded and toured with his own projects and legendary artists such as: Marcus Miller, The Brecker Brothers, Billy Cobham, David Sanborn, Bob James, George Duke, Roberta Flack, Joe Zawinul, Lenny White, Kirk Whalum, Bill Evans, and many more.



Hadrien Feraud - Bass

French fusion bassist Hadrien Feraud is known for blowing away audiences at his live performances. He has collaborated with John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham, and Jean-Luc Ponty. He has recently toured with the Dean Brown Band as well as Chick Corea.



Deron Johnson - Keyboards

Beginning at the age of sixteen, Johnson became hooked on jazz music and attended California State University Long Beach where he continued his pursuit with private lessons from Billy Childs. In 1991, after touring with Pop Idol Paula Abdul, Johnson was discovered by trumpet legend Miles Davis. Johnson did three European tours and two American tours with Davis before he died, and recorded the keyboards on his last CD effort called "Doo Bop." Johnson then toured extensively and recorded with jazz bassist Stanley Clarke and David Sanborn. In 1996, Johnson began to focus on original projects, along with more touring and more recordings with artists including Alanis Morissette, Boz Scaggs, and Seal.

Johnson has most recently been engaged as a film and TV composer for the Weinstein Film Company.



Grace Kelly - Sax

Grace Kelly is a young American jazz prodigy; she appeared at age fourteen as a special guest artist for two nights with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops 2007 Jazz Series. One of the selections Kelly performed was her award winning composition Every Road I Walked, which she also arranged for the entire Pops orchestra. Kelly opened the 2010 Newport Jazz Festival, playing alongside Jamie Cullum. She has performed at venues worldwide, such as Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, and the Kennedy Center. She has recorded and/or performed alongside Lee Konitz, Phil Woods, Dave Brubeck, Hank Jones, and Wynton Marsalis.



Laura Jane - Lead Singer

Laura Jane is a successful background singer and solo recording artist who has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in popular music, including Enrique Iglesias, Dave Matthews Band, Kelly Clarkson, Aerosmith, and the Black Eyed Peas. She has also appeared on numerous television shows such as the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ellen Degeneres, the Latin Grammies, the Grammies, and The Voice.
